Travis – Peace The Fuck Out (2003)

Debido a la contingencia esta vez la musica se cambió de día, y con un grupo escocés que es de los buenos (al menos para mi gusto) :Travis. Este grupo escocés formado por Francis Healy (voz y guitarra), Andy Dunlop (guitarra), Neil Primrose (batería), Douglas Payne (bajo), lanzaba en el año 2003 su cuarto disco de estudio llamado 12 memories, un disco con un corte más bien experimental, pero sin perder la esencia del brit pop que el grupo cultiva desde su primer album.
Sin embargo, en 12 memories Travis apuntó en sus letras a expresar su punto de vista sobre la guerra en Irak, los políticos y la violencia doméstica.
De este disco la canción que más se escucho en Chile fue The Beautiful occupation. Pero el disco, en general, recibió bastantes buenas críticas y tiene canciones que vale la pena escuchar. Y como muestra esta semana el kiosco presenta el track 4 de ese disco: Peace the fuck out. Que la disfruten
